The Lucknow & District Sports Complex is the hub of the Lucknow Recreation Department, consisting,  of two activity or meeting rooms, NHL regulation ice surface, Fitpoint Fitness Center, and Recreation and tourism offices. The Lucknow  & District Sports Complex was renovated in two stages, beginning in 1985. The original arena was demolished in 1985, to make room for the new improved 200 x 85 NHL ice surface. The dressing rooms, and viewing area renovations were completed in 1987. The Chamber of Commerce Tourism office, and multipurpose room was added at this time also. There are two meeting / multipurpose rooms located at the Sports Complex. One on the ground level with a capacity of 100 people, and a second room, with a small kitchen on the second level with a capacity of 125 people .
